A series of weak disturbances will move across the MTB Atlanta area through Saturday bringing low chances of showers and thunderstorms each day, mainly in the afternoon. A stronger system will move across the area on Friday which could bring a few strong to severe storms, mainly Friday afternoon and evening.
A cold front will move across the area Saturday night and stall just to our south on Sunday. This will bring widespread showers to the area. There could be an isolated thunderstorm south of I-20. Rainfall amounts will be generally 0.50″ or less, although higher amounts are possible in the thunderstorms.
High pressure builds across the area early next week bringing clear to partly cloudy skies and warming temperatures.
