Forecast for Dauset Trails
Issued: 5 PM EDT Thursday, Oct 31 2019

Changes to the Previous Forecast
Added Code Changes for Cold Weather for Saturday and Sunday.

The cold front has moved across Dauset and we received 0.39” today. This brings the total rainfall since it began on Tuesday to 1.10” There are a few more showers around the area but these should be over with between 6 and 7 PM. Additional rainfall 0.05” or less is expected.

Strong high pressure will bring in the coldest air of the season with overnight lows the next 3 mornings in the mid-30s and daytime highs in the lower 60s. Only a few clouds are expected with a secondary front that will increase our winds a little Saturday afternoon with gusts to near 15 MPH after 2 PM.

Temperatures Saturday and Sunday morning will be in the upper 30s at daybreak, getting above 40 degrees by 9 AM both mornings. This will affect pre-ride and for that reason I added a 90% chance of Code YELLOW for both mornings between the hours of 6 AM and 9 AM.

Don’t forget to set your clocks back 1 hour Saturday night
